Each score is individually run against the USGA formula. Then the 10 best of 20
are used. But with under 20 scores, there are heavier weights to your better scores:
1 to 6 rounds (use best score ONLY)
7 to 8 (2)
9 to 10 (3)
11 to 12 (4)
13 to 14 (5)
15 to 16 (6)
17 (7)
18 (8)
19 (9)
20 (10)
Rounds 21 and older are not used in the calculation. However, with under 20
rounds in a golfer's history, it is reasonable to see little change in an USGA index
until more rounds are posted.
